We asked a lot of questions. Every piece of it, we
always want to have a corresponding answers. Every day, another one will
subjoin it. Its number is increasing. It is undying. We are ready to risk for a
journey just to finish what we’ve started and to find even a single reply for
every questions we are reflecting upon.
And this is not as easy as finding it in the net. Most especially to a
person whose hope is initially fading.
“Who really am I?”
“What am I doing in my life?”
These are only few of our million questions. We tend to
escape from it but in the end, we will realize that we cannot. This is the
reality! We often ask those questions when it seems that out life is at stake
of misleading and dilemma of uncertainties are coming. We can’t help our self
but to sit and let the quietude take care for it until another questions will
arouse – Where am I going? My decisions and my passions; the people I am around
with, Am I happy with them?
It is but absurd to think that even though we are not
yet through with one, there will be another one sprouting. And this time, we
are opt to make a sacrifice. We have a decision to stand with! This is so
painful indeed!
But don’t you ever worry. You are still in sane. We just need to remember that
life will always be akin to our questionings. There are those who suffered more
for those questions before we even encountered it. Don’t falter. As when life
will still be going our questions will also be. And as when, “when there is
life, there is hope”, our deepest questions will one day find its answers.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a seminarian from the Philippines. The place was a
very simple and quite-filled town they called “Tuy” (well I will not blame you if you mistakenly read it as “t-u-y”, but it
is called this way, “t-u-w-i…”). I
am currently on my regency program. I was advice to take another year of formation
outside the vicinity of the seminary.
I love reading books which I just found something
attractive; A MARVEL-avid fan and a dog-lover. We have a dog at home named “Cali” but I would love to have a dog of
my own (specifically a Beagle). I’m a
music-enthusiast of jazz and of old songs. I was also interested in playing the
piano turning every song I learned into a mellow model of tone. I'm also passionate when it comes to writing on my journal about my pilgrimage in life and was then introduced to blogging when my spiritual director mentioned it to me.
ABOUT THE blog
“Pilgrim’s
Theme : The Voice that
Calls Within” was inspired by Bukas-Palad’s , ”PILGRIM’S THEME”; a wonderful and motivational song about a
story of each and every Pilgrim who are getting bewildered by the decisions he
has to make in life- in work, tasks , duties, concerns, family agendas, friends, financial state, reactions, self; an unending
series of resolution to end up and in such a way finding it too tiring. It
appears that Tomorrow is no longer different from today and the present is just
the same as yesterday.
But there is this Voice, who remains on calling for
something, for someone, to hold on what one’s heart keeps on telling him- what
he wants and what he likes. For later on, he will soon find his place. For all
things have a place, In the Greater Scheme of Things…
This blog is a compilation
of the things that I love to do and stuffs that I want to achieve to aid my Life
in following the Voice that Calls Within- the Voice of Him; the voice of God
who will help me make things fall in its proper place. The Place that He
Himself designed for us.
May this blog helps you
know what your heart really desires and in one way or another long to Follow
God and where ever He wants us to be…
